 It started out a simple mission, like so many before. Leaf Clan had put it upon themselves to inspect the disappearances going on in a distant village. Their investigation gave them one possible lead, the catacombs on the edge of town. They were considered sacred and entering them was considered a great omen upon whoever dared to do so. Those on the Leaf patrol were not deterred by this however and decided to enter anyway. If only they walked away...they found answers, but maybe they were better off ignorant of the horrors that occurred in those horrid catacombs.

The patrol Leaf Clan sent to investigate the nearby town of Orion stood in front of the catacombs just on the outskirts of town. Ginkgo took a step forward and looked over to a nearby Leaf. "Well we won't be going anywhere just standing around. We gotta decide are we going in or not?" She asked her fellow clanmates bluntly.

Crystal shivers slightly, standing in the shadow of the catacomb's entrance as she gazes up at Ginkgo with wide, pale eyes, brows furrowed in concern and unease.
"I...I don't know, Ginkgo... Something about this place doesnt feel right." she stutters.
She tightens her grip on her staff, observing their surroundings warily before turning her attention back to the catacombs, staring into the darkness with no small amount of fright.

Yasu nudged Ginkgo. "Crystal is onto something here. This place feels incredibly sinister." He mumbled, nervously looking at the entrance.

"Well yeah, it is a series of catacombs. Of course it's gonna be creepy." Ginkgo replied nonchalantly. "This is the only lead we have. We have enough witnesses that have seen other townspeople go in here and not come out. Whoever or whatever is causing the disappearances is more than likely in here." Ginkgo rubbed her nose, feeling the anticipation of entering the catacombs herself.

"Agreed. However, its best to avoid going into a situation without any potential back-up." Littlest reminded Ginkgo with a passing glance.

The usually carefree Leaf had taken on a more stoic attitude as the mission progressed and these catacombs werent helping the dark feeling that had been following her. She had inspected the outside of the catacombs but the old stone only revealed a basic age. With the grace and ease of her breed, the mirror creature twirled her hand. A small orb illumination light materialized above her palm as she waited to see whether they were ready to head in or not.
