Leaf Clan

This is probably one of the first short stories ive written in a long time, so I hope its alright XD Its about how Raspy Oves Leaf ends up meeting his new friend Cupcake Leaf. I will probably do more future short stories with these guys, and maybe even a few role plays with them. Enjoy, and please tell me what I can do to make this better. Im open for criticism XD

"Yay!" Cupcake exclaimed. "I can't believe we just caught all these fish today, Snowy!" She said as she ran ahead of Snowy. The snow leopard sighed, knowing with Cupcake she would end up ruining all the fish before they got home. "Slow down will ya?" Snowy said. Cupcake stopped with the wooden basket filled with fish. She giggled at her annoyed sister. "Sorry! I just can't wait to go home and cook these little guys." The young leaf said and kept running ahead of Snowy. "Don't get lost, I'll meet you up at home than I guess." Snowy said, and kept her steady pace with the baskets of fish she had.

Cupcake kept running through the large woods, being careful of not to trip over any tree branches or large stones. She enjoyed the wind running into her face, and hearing all the noises of the forest zoom right pass. As she kept running, suddenly she ran into something. "Oof!" Cupcake said as she fell down onto her back from the impact. This caused the wooden basket she had to land onto the ground and open up, releasing most of the fish onto the forest floor. Processing what had happened, Cupcake sat up and looked around her. "Aw shoot." She said when she saw all the fish on the ground. "Ouch.." A voice muttered. Cupcake looked around to see that she had ran into someone else. She recognized who the this person was, it was a cloud creature. The cloud creature was lying on his back, trying to recover from the impact. "Oh, I'm sorry for running into you!" Cupcake said, and got up, picking up the fish she had lost into the wooden basket.

The cloud creature perked his ears up, and got up quickly. He looked at the young frost creature in front of him. He slightly shook, thoughts running through his mind frantically. Who was this girl? Was she any danger? From the looks of it though, she didn't look quite strong for being small, but looks can be deceiving. "Oh. Um, I'm sorry you ran into me." He said, nervousness obvious in his voice. Cupcake smiled up at him. "It's alright. You don't need to apologize though, I was the one who ran into you." The cloud creature nervously smiled back. "Oh. Right." He said briefly and quietly. "You don't sound good. Are you sick with a cold or soar throat?" Cupcake asked. He perked his ears up quickly and tapped his fingers together. "Um, well, I was born with, uh, this kind of voice." He said. Cupcake giggled at his nervousness. "Oh I see, thats interesting than! My name is Cupcake Leaf, what's your name?" She asked. "Another Leaf? I was wondering when I would run into one. Uh, my name is Raspy Oves Leaf. But, um, you can call me whatever for short." The cloud creature said. "Oh, so your new to this area?" Cupcake asked him. "Yes, um, my family and I just started to uh, live near the sanctuary." Raspy said. Cupcake smiled, and grabbed Raspy by his hand. Raspy shook and almost broke out into a sweat. "Come on, you should meet everyone than! Everyone would love to meet you!" She said and started running, forcing Raspy with her. "What! Hey!" He said quickly, being dragged by the younger Leaf. He started wondering, what would happen next in this place?
